Pioneering Australia’s first fully automated metro - a world-class PPP setting new benchmarks in urban transport

Working with John Holland, CPB Contractors, Plenary Group, MTR Corporation and UGL Rail, I was part of the winning North West Rapid Transit consortium that delivered Australia’s first fully automated metro system. Valued at around A$8.3 billion, the project involved 36 kilometres of new and converted railway, eight brand-new stations, major tunnel and skytrain structures, and the introduction of a new fleet of driverless trains.

My role was to shape and deliver all the visual strategy, branding, and design elements that helped secure this world-class win - a landmark PPP bringing together design, construction, finance, operations, and maintenance over a 15-year concession.
